As a student assistant, you become part of our Global Customer Service Organization and will work with colleagues all over the world. We are 30 colleagues responsible for developing and commercializing mechanical, automation and digital solutions, but also setting the long term aspiration and strategic direction for our business area. You will have the chance to develop your competencies by gaining hands-on experience in an inspiring and agile learning environment. We are committed to help you grow both personally and professionally and you will get experience with many types of tasks related to business development, both very small hands-on tasks but also project work related to strategic business development work. We are searching for 3 student assistants in different departments where you quickly will gain responsibility for your own tasks like:

Service and Spare Part Sales

  • Analyzing customer, market, competitor trends and installed base data to be utilized in business development projects

  • Participate in the development of our digital sales platform myBühler (The myBühler Customer Portal - YouTube)

  • Preparing presentations for various management meetings

  • Analysis of sales performance from CRM

  • Participate in business development assignments, e.g. strategy, value propositions, prices, market

  • Map installed base data and fill gaps

  • Various administrative tasks and ad hoc tasks.

Field Service and Installation

  • Maintain/re design SharePoint for our Field Engineers.

  • Development of report generator and feedback loop to other part of our organization

  • Participate in competence mapping and data collection

  • Development and maintaining personal profiles and employer data

  • Participate in business development assignments, e.g. strategy, value propositions, prices, market

  • Various administrative tasks and ad hoc tasks.

Depending on you preferences you will be able to cover assignments in both departments and as we are in a fast moving environment a certain amount of flexibility is required.

Why You

Ideally, you are currently studying manufacturing and management, global business engineering, process and innovation or another relevant technical degree. You have strong technical knowledge and interest, and you may have worked in a similar company before or another practical job with hands-on experience. You are structured and detail-oriented in your work and a fast learner. It will be an advantage to have a good knowledge within Excel and SharePoint.
