UEFI BIOS Engineer

Job Description
Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products. Be responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Computing Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 6 months experience with:
  • Programming in Python Scripting
  • Programming in C/C++
  • Object oriented programming
  • Linux and Windows environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Firmware Programming.
Knowledge of Intel architecture: x86, x64.
Working with layered designs and software patterns for embedded systems and resource management. Inside this Business Group
