The Bing Monetization Experience (UI/UX) team needs a developer with exceptional breadth, depth, and creativity. You should be able to build amazing UX experiences that blow users minds, innovate UI elements and create beautiful and precise pixel-perfect experience. Our team is responsible for the layout, rendering, and optimization of ads across all Bing properties while balancing revenue with user and site grow.
Our team delivers some of the highest revenue gains per developer anywhere at Microsoft. In addition to refining the core ads user experience, we develop new advertising features, and apply data-driven optimization techniques to maximize revenue without sacrificing the quality of the overall search experience. We work with interpreting hundreds of machine learning features, creating and testing machine learning models, and supporting infrastructure to place the items on the page.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement UI features.
Analyze AB flights and iterate on features to meet ship criteria.
Write test and monitor livesite.
The team is growing, so this is very much a ground floor opportunity with huge upside potential.
We are interested in smart, passionate UX developers. Experience with machine learning, statistics, and AB tests at large scale is a plus. Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
QualificationsB.S., M.S. Computer Science or related field
2+ years of web development software engineering experience, ideally in CSS, JS, and HTML
Great design, problem solving, and coding skills with a strong bias for quality
Plus to have:
Machine learning and information retrieval techniques
Data mining, statistical analysis experience
